Coating
The KASIGLAS® High-tech coatings give the plastic panels many additional and useful properties that are used in various products.
Polycarbonate (PC)
Polycarbonates (PC) are thermoplastics that usually contain less than 5% crystals and are therefore considered amorphous.
Coating creates the following properties:
-
wear-resistant -
chemical-resistant -
weather-resistant -
malleable -
able to be edged -
available in colours -
UV-protected -
electrically dissipative
Polymethylmethacrylat (PMMA)
Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) is a transparent thermoplastic that transmits visible light better than mineral glass.
Coating creates the following properties:
-
wear-resistant -
chemical-resistant -
weather-resistant -
malleable -
able to be edged -
available in colours -
UV-protected -
electrically dissipative
Styrol/Acrylnitril (SAN)
Styrol / acrylnitrile (SAN) are copolymers made of styrene and acrylic nitril and are transparent and stiff polymers.
Coating creates the following properties:
-
wear-resistant -
chemical-resistant -
weather-resistant -
available in colours -
UV-protected
Polyphenylsulfon (PPSU)
Polysulfones are a class of high-performance thermoplastics. They are known for their toughness and stability at high temperatures.
Coating creates the following properties:
-
wear-resistant -
chemical-resistant -
weather-resistant -
malleable -
available in colours -
UV-protected
